Future Cinema is part of the Young Tyneside programme exploring the Future of Cinema and screen based media.
Young people from around Newcastle are taking the lead on this programme of workshops and events for young people to explore digital and visual arts.

The young leaders team offer a fortnightly drop in session called The Factory on Monday nights at the Tyneside Cinema 5-7pm. This is an opportunity to try your hand a filming, editing, animating and much more. It is a space for young people to meet, share ideas and skills and learn new ones.

This will lead on to a number of creative projects from now until 2012 so if you would like to get involved, go along to The Factory.
